hi there!

I’m Kristin

As a Registered Dietitian specializing in functional nutrition and gut health, I believe your health is about more than individual symptoms. My goal is to help you understand the bigger picture, connect the dots, and create personalized, realistic strategies that help you feel better and support your health for years to come.

My Story & Philosophy

As a Registered Dietitian, I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and the many factors that influence how we feel. I believe our symptoms can provide valuable clues about what may be happening beneath the surface—and that understanding those connections can help us make more meaningful, personalized changes.

That belief became more personal after I was diagnosed with IBS. A few years later, I was introduced to a functional medicine provider—an approach I was admittedly skeptical of at first. After working with him and completing a comprehensive functional stool test, I gained new insight into what could be contributing to my digestive symptoms. The changes we made based on those findings made a significant difference in how I felt.

I didn’t expect that experience to change the direction of my dietitian career, but it did. It opened my eyes to a more comprehensive way of looking at health and sparked a desire to better understand the connections between nutrition, digestion, the gut microbiome, nutrient status, stress, sleep, movement, genetics, lifestyle, and the many ways our body systems influence one another.

Today, I combine my foundation as a Registered Dietitian with advanced training in functional nutrition to help clients look at the bigger picture of their health. Digestive health is one of my primary areas of specialization, and I particularly enjoy helping people navigate concerns such as IBS, bloating, food intolerances, and other persistent gastrointestinal symptoms. But my approach extends beyond the gut to consider how digestion, metabolic health, energy, nutrition, and other aspects of health may be connected.

I often describe myself as a “health detective”—asking questions, looking for patterns, and helping connect the dots between symptoms, health history, lifestyle, nutrition, and lab findings when appropriate. My approach combines evidence-based nutrition with a functional medicine perspective, using the information we gather to develop recommendations tailored to each individual.

Most importantly, I believe this process should be collaborative. You know your body and your life better than anyone. My role is to listen, bring my clinical knowledge and experience to the table, and work alongside you to create a personalized plan that is realistic, flexible, and designed to support lasting change.

I love helping people better understand their bodies, feel more confident about the choices they’re making, and recognize that persistent symptoms deserve thoughtful attention rather than simply being accepted as part of everyday life. Sometimes the path forward begins with looking at the whole picture a little differently.
